David Stewart
With over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, nightlife, and operations management, David Stewart has played a pivotal role in shaping the experiences and programming for some of the world’s most renowned private clubs, hotels, and venues.
Spending 10 years with Soho House in operations, David was instrumental in curating soundscapes and entertainment experiences across multiple properties, in multiple continents, ensuring a seamless blend of exclusivity, ambiance, and cultural resonance. He later worked with San Vicente Bungalows, one of the most exclusive members’ clubs in the Los Angeles, where he further refined his expertise in crafting bespoke experiences and atmospheres tailored to ultra-high-net-worth clientele. David continues to work with Irongate, a leading luxury real estate developer behind some of the most prestigious hospitality projects, including a luxury resort in Mexico featuring The Four Seasons and Aman Hotels.
His career has taken him across the UK, US, and Mexico, allowing him to develop a global perspective on luxury hospitality and lifestyle. Having worked in diverse cultural markets, David understands the nuances of how everything the guest experiences, enhances a brand’s identity.
As co-founder of Focal Music Solutions, he now brings this wealth of experience to businesses looking to elevate their ambiance through curated music, world-class talent sourcing, and immersive entertainment solutions. Whether designing the sonic identity for high-end hotels, exclusive supper clubs, or luxury events, David’s expertise ensures an experience that is not just heard—but felt.
Barry O'Brien
With 20 years of experience as a DJ, music producer, and music curator, Barry O’Brien has built a career spanning London, Asia, and the USA, performing for high-profile clients and world-renowned hospitality brands. From private celebrity events to holding residencies at some of the most prestigious hotels and venues worldwide, Barry’s expertise in crafting immersive musical experiences is unparalleled.
His extensive portfolio includes residencies at The Peninsula Hotel, Mandarin Oriental, The W, Ophelia Hong Kong, Soho House Worldwide, and the exclusive Little Beach House Malibu, as well as collaborations with Ballymore Properties and Battersea Power Station. Now based in London, Barry is at the helm of entertainment programming for The Ivy Collection, Sexy Fish, 45 Park Lane, and The Savoy Hotel.
With a global perspective on music and hospitality, Barry seamlessly blends culture, ambiance, and innovation to curate exceptional sonic landscapes for luxury venues and brands.
